Matches are found on organ type and ABO blood-type compatibility. Medical suitability is always determined later, by your transplant center.
If organ and blood type look like a fit, both of you opt in. You can message without sharing your real name — so you can get a feel for each other before you commit.
Then trickle what you share — first name, story, contact — only if you want to. A little, a lot, or never. Wait for your center, reveal sooner, or stay anonymous. Your call, never ours.

It's not a replacement — it's in addition. Your transplant center manages your official waitlist status and every medical decision. We privately search for a living-donor match on top of that, which can move faster than the deceased-donor waitlist alone.
