Navigator Services

Independent RN Navigator

One-on-one guidance from a licensed RN Navigator — compare transplant centers, understand your options, and get through the paperwork. Kidney or liver matching is a separate product. Heart, lung, pancreas, marrow/stem cell, and Other use this navigator path.

What this is — and isn't. Your navigator provides education, care coordination, and help interpreting publicly available information. This is not a medical diagnosis, a prescription, or a replacement for your transplant team. A uTransplant RN is not the transplant program’s Independent Living Donor Advocate and does not replace that required role. Think of it as an experienced RN Navigator in your corner, not a second doctor.

Who you'll work with

Every uTransplant Navigator is a Registered Nurse — licensed in the states we currently cover and individually insured. You'll work with a licensed RN Navigator on our team. We'll introduce whoever is taking this session after you complete the forms and e-sign, and you can ask for a different navigator on the team if it isn't a fit.

Flat fees, time-based — never contingent on being matched with a donor, listed, or transplanted.

Frequently asked

Do you help with deceased-donor waitlist cases too?

Yes — center comparisons and paperwork coordination are useful whether you're pursuing a living donor, the deceased-donor waitlist, or both at once.

How do I pay and when is the session?

If your session state is covered, this page sends you to a secure checkout. You do not pick a time here. After you pay, complete the forms and e-sign in the care portal, at your convenience — no printer needed — then we contact you by email, or by text if you opted in, to choose a review date and time that is convenient for you.

Will this replace my transplant team?

No. Your transplant center's team makes every medical decision. Your navigator helps you understand and prepare for those conversations.

What if I'm not in a covered state yet?

Use the state you will be in during the session. If we are not licensed there yet, you join the waitlist — nothing is charged — and we'll email you if that changes.

Is this covered by insurance?

No — this is a private-pay consulting service, not a billed medical visit. That's intentional: it keeps the advice independent of any insurer's or center's incentives.
