How to Find a Living Kidney Donor

Searching for a living kidney donor is not the same as sitting on the deceased-donor waitlist. Listing stays at your transplant center. Finding a willing person is a separate private search — and that is what matching here is for.

Two tracks, not one

Listing and organ offers stay at an accredited transplant program. That list does not privately search for a living donor. If you need a living kidney donor, you need confidential matching here while you stay listed.

What matching actually does

We privately compare new kidney donor signups to your organ and blood type while your plan is active. Compatible people show on your dashboard. You approve every introduction. Revealing your real name is optional. Testing, consent, and surgery stay at your program.

What you order

Kidney or liver: matching membership. Heart, lung, pancreas, marrow/stem cell, and Other: an RN Navigator package — not this queue.

Need a living kidney donor? Start kidney matching. Liver uses the same membership. Or order an RN Navigator: Center & Options Review.
